ONE Port St. Joe: Regional Park Network

Over a year and a half after Hurricane Michael devastated Port St. Joe, the word “resilience” resonates strongly in the community. Parks are a space of historical and cultural significance, and many of the parks in Port St. Joe exist because of a strong sense of community ownership. This video was produced for the Florida Institute for Built Environment Resilience at the University of Florida. Interdisciplinary teams—from law, engineering, architecture, landscaping, urban planning, and communications—worked to find sustainable solutions for a rebuilding community. Our team focused on the town’s regional park network.
